hope opens the small brown leather trunk that was sitting in the corner of her mothers old room. she pulls out an old newspaper. the newspaper reads;

Kathrin Kate and Koby Kate were shot and killed september 10, 2000 at their ranch home in Katevill, Georgia. they died leaving their 4 children. 18 year old Dream, 16 yr old Faith, 15 year old Hope, and 7 year old Happiness. when their parents were being killed, all the girls were at a sleep over. The only child home was the 7 year old boy Happiness who stayed home to paint. right now the chilldren are in custody of their 85 yearold grandmother, Maybel Jinkens.
